My journey as an artist began in 2020, months after serving as a front line nurse at the start of the pandemic. It was the darkest time in my life, and I longed to find beauty again. I turned to art as a means to process the trauma and find solace.
Initially, I explored the medium of resin, making basic jewelry and designs. It wasn't until I started crafting space-themed art that everything clicked. My first Star Trek art felt like a tribute to Trek's values of hope, sacrifice, and the good of the many, that had inspired me to keep going when I wanted to give up.
What makes Stem Bolt Arts special is attention to detail and the time-consuming processes involved in creating each piece. No two items are alike, as I work with what I find in the woods, recycling strange stuff, and modern materials. By infusing each creation with a personal touch, every artwork takes on its own unique personality. Nothing offered looks like it came from a machine, and you can see the human touch in my art. Thanks for stopping by and checking out Stem Bolt Arts!
